The Mill is a real hidden gem. Tucked quietly on the outskirts of Castlefield, it’s a really impressive piece of contemporary architecture, designed to make the most of its canal-side setting. The full-height glazing wraps around the building, giving every apartment a superb panoramic view across the water or else right down the length of the canal. The location is surprisingly pleasant and it’s quiet, too. You can walk to Castlefield across the lime-green pedestrian bridge and Sainbury’s is also round the corner.
