Manchester loves its music and there’s so many gigs constantly happening throughout the city, so we thought we would highlight some of the biggest gigs coming this month in April. From 80’s icons to Manchester legends and current pop stars there’s a wide variety of shows upcoming so there’s bound to be one for you.
April 4th - 5 Seconds Of Summer @ Co-op Live

The Australian pop-rock stars are returning to Manchester for the first time since 2023 bringing their melodic pop hooks to Co-op Live for the first time. The band are embarking on their Everyone's A Star tour and will be sure to debut plenty of songs of the titular album alongside their big hits such as “Teeth” and “Youngblood”.
April 6th - JID @ Aviva Studios
Following 2025’s “God Does Like Ugly” Atlanta, Platinum selling rapper JID is heading to one of Manchester’s freshest venues in Aviva Studios which opened in 2023. Known for his dynamic flow and crafty lyricism JID has quickly established himself as one of rap's fastest rising talents of the last decade.
April 11th - Happy Mondays @ Victoria Warehouse
Manchester icons Happy Mondays are back for another homecoming gig! Fresh off the 35th anniversary of their album “Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches” the Manc music legends are returning with arguably their biggest song “Step On” being a must on the setlist as it was part of those 35th anniversary celebrations as the lead single from that album.
April 16th - The Prodigy @ Co-op Live

Legendary electronic group The Prodigy are back on tour! With massive tracks such as “Firestarter” and “Breathe” under their belts, the group have established themselves as one of the biggest electronic acts of the past few decades. This will be their largest indoor show in Manchester and is bound to be one of the highest energy gigs of the month.
April 17th - Rick Astley @ Co-op Live
80’s icon Rick Astley is back on the road! Best known for his No.1 hit the iconic “Never Gonna Give You Up” Astley has sold millions of records worldwide and is bringing his pop stylings to Co-op live on the 17th on his latest headline tour.
April 18th - James @ Co-op Live
Another iconic Manchester band is back on tour, this time in support of their biggest ever arena tour culminating in a massive homecoming gig at Co-op Live. Best known for their smash hit’s “Laid” and “Sit Down” the recently released a best of compilation album in November 2025 so expect all their best tunes in the setlist.
April 24th - Louis Tomlinson @ Co-op Live
The ex One Direction star returned earlier this year in January with his first solo record since 2022 and is now heading on tour with his biggest solo show in Manchester to date coming to Co-op Live. This is a big chance to hear his new songs such as lead single “Lemonade” live for the first time alongside all the hits from his prior two albums “Walls” and “Faith in the Future”.
April 25th - Yungblud @ AO Arena
Alt Rock star Yungblud is back on tour following the release of his 4th studio album “Idols” which was released in June 2025. His newest album has been described as his most ambitious yet, with various genre-blending songs that he will be bringing to life on stage throughout this headline tour with his final stop on the UK branch being the infamous AO Arena.
April 25th-26th - Olivia Dean @ Co-op Live
Hot off of sweeping the Brit awards with 6 nominees and 5 awards won at this very arena Olivia Dean is returning to Manchester for 2 massive headline gigs at Co-op Live. Her songs “Nice To Each Other”, “Man In Need” and her collaboration with Sam Fender “Rein Me In” all dominated the 2025 music sphere so don’t miss out your chance to hear them live along with more material from her 2025 album “The Art Of Loving”.
